got 2 questions
1. so i just put a S&B cold air intake in my truck last week and now when my boost is between 15-18 psi my turbo seems to "pulse" and it also does it when i got er about 2600 rpms and then it shifts from 3rd to 4th. im really confused and cannot figure out what it is or whats making this happen. any ideas how to fix this or what it is?
2. and does anybody have any knowledge of the ATS CoPilot? i hooked it up and double checked all my wires and connections and they are all fine, however, i dont notice any change in being able to control when my torque converter locks and unlocks, like the owners manual says i should be able to.. any info thatd help?

could it possibly be the copilot? let me try to get a better understanding of your problem though because i'm having trouble grasping the concept. do you have a boost gauge? i'm guessing you do. if you do does it actually go back and forth between 15 and 18?
it pulses with the copilot off to.. that thing doesnt work at all and i cant figure out why.. the pulsing happens about 16 psi.. sometimes a little lower sometimes a little higher. its hard to put it into words what its doing. my gauge doesnt change when it does it. on one of my dads trucks (01 7.3) it does it to and it doesnt have any gauges or any mods its just stock. my first thought was oh **** the turbo is going out but it only has 88k on it.. idk it pulses but if i floor it it quits or if i let off it quits too

i also thought maybe it had something to do with the wastegate opening and closing or something... im not very knowledgable with the parts of a turbo thats why im askin everyone bout this haha

i believe there's an aftermarket compressor wheel out there that mentions no more pulsing. i'll see if i can find it

Wicked Wheel, most diesel vendors used to carry them for less than $100. Here's two I found

You have compressor surge, you can put a wicked wheel in it or for 100% cure install a ported shroud compressor housing. Your turbo was doing it before but the stock airbox covers the sound. That is a very common problem with these trucks especially when they are chipped.
how much did that cost and how easy was the tc lock switch to install? honestly the CoPilot was a pain in the *** but only took bout an hour
