Luckily, we were able to settle our differences out of court and just fill out a little bit of paperwork.

just looked it up and the supposed date for the switch to pmr's was 10/16/00

My engine build date is 11/21/00 and it has PMR rods. I pulled the plug to verify.

Don't put too much stock in that date. The only REAL way to know is to check.

Depending on what truck assembly plant (what shift, what row of engines in the warehouse, etc.) installed the engine, it could have been a bit before or quite a bit after that date.
