so toinght on my way home from work the light that tells you the overdrive is OFF was flashing. trans seems to be working right. shifted through all gears and i could still turn the overdive on/off, but the light just kept on flashing. anybody know what the deal with that is. im planning on changing the oil/filter this weekend, any thing else i should check whyle im in there?

you are having od failure you need to get it scanned before the unit goes out

mine did that like a month ago, it did it once and hasn't since, my truck was running good, it was really cold it did it for like 3 minutes, hasnt happened again

 

this normalie means there is a transmission code and if not looked at can reck ur trany because it increases the presure in it to stop it from slipping
