Not really a good indicator, some do, some dont, some have been changed.

When I had my e99 truck that was the first thing I changed.

Can you use any of the good turbos,injectors, programmers ect .It sounds like the motors are pretty much the same just the bolt on acc are different ? I noticed on some of the upgraded stuff it says not early 99 .

most of it you can. about the only thing i've found that will not work on the e99 is turbo stuff. like there is no ported compressor housing for the stock e99 turbo.

The E99 turbo uses a different pedistal and all that so You would have to swap everything over to the Later stuff...

Injectors can be used throughout all 94-03 powerstrokes with the right programming to run them.. Most programmers/chips are PCM specific but can all be tuned to work on whatever vehicle you are running...

How much better is a 17 degree than a 15? whats the difference between the injectors? Whats the difference in the codes? for the injectors?
am i able to use the up pipes off a 99 in my 97?
also is the turbo any different? intercooled?

No you can't just use the uppipes off a SD on your OBS...
AA/AO have 90cc of fuel
AB's used in E99 have 120cc of fuel
AD's use in 99-03 have 140cc of fuel
17* is better than a 15*
