WW is a E-99 compressor wheel. It has stepped blades and moves the surge line on the turbo a bit... Customer complaints on the E-99 trucks made Ford change the design, and also add the insulation on the L-99 and on.

With a E-99 you already have one!

From what I've read the WW flows less air to try and reduce surge. Since you CANNOT get a ported compressor housing for the E99, it (has a 4 bolt compressor housing), later models have a 5 bolt housing. As for the surge line, I have no idea.

Early 99 has two wheel ABS (that's what mine is) and late 99 has all wheel ABS.

Doesn't the E99 have the V8 Powerstroke decal up front and the 99.5+ on the door?

Mine is a 2000 and it is on the 1/4 panel, nothing on the door.
