how do i change glow plugs???

Thanks for the torque spec and I know the boom spray is a no-no but the truck had to start that morning. I don't recommend it to anyone and I hate doing it but I have done it a few times with no explosions yet... but I don't like pushing my luck.

yeah don't do it. it's not like using it on a gasser.

Again I know it is a no no, but the truck HAD to start. The good news is, it looks like it is just the relay. Was putting out a whomping 3 volts to the GPs so I got stancor on the way.

holy crap! 3 whole volts?! haha. yeah the relay is generally the culpret. the GP's don't go out near as often as everyone thinks they do.

No but when I buy a truck, I throw the 90 bucks and just do them for piece of mind. That way I KNOW they are new and not factory gp's... simply for assurance...

well according to the stack of papers that came with my pickup when i bought it. the GP's were replaced about a month before i bought it.
