how much power can a stock auto 4R100 hold before it breaks? Or can't how the power safely? and is there anyway thing on the stock one u can so it wont break that is cheaper then a rebuild or a new one?

 

i have seen them hold up to an around 450 ..not too much more tho.. tend to burn up clutchs and convertors...

you can help out the trans by keeping clean fluid in it and putting a valve body , bts,john wood. etc.. it will firm up the shifts and cause less clutch slipage ... but it wont save the trans if you abuse it..
