Oil pressure sender on our trucks is more of an on-off switch... It does not really read pressure. If you replaced the sender, I would check some of the wires for broken wires or chaiffed wires. If not, put a manual gauge in there and check again.

---AutoMerged DoublePost--- i would try that if i hadn't of blew a head gasket (well thats what i'm thinkin it is) i'm gonna save my pennys and just rebuild the motor, put forged rods, some 238/100 hybrids and a precision billet turbo and call it good |
started to over heat so i pulled off and shut it off, popped the hood, and watched my truck guzzle almost the ENTIRE res. of anti-freeze
|
I would suspect a cracked injector cup over a blown head gasket...
|
ok, i'll let you know when i know, either way i'm going to pull the motor and do a rebuild on it, mostly for the forged rods but i'm sure it could use some refreshing
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- how would i go about getting the injector cup out? isn't there some B.S. specialty tool for it? |
There is a Rotunda tool that you need. There are several other kits on the market that do the same thing, goggle it, you should find a few. The Rotunda is the one I have used.
|
i've found the cups themselves but no tool yet, but i'll keep lookin, thanks :c:

|
thanks :c:
think the stage one 160cc injectors from Full Force will be about right for a PMR motor? i'm gonna wait to rebuild the motor till after the snow is gone |
