oh ok.. see i read in magazines like diesel power and diesel tech how there is guys with trucks that have up to 500 even 600 horse and they get upwards of 20 mpg with them.. i just didnt know how and i guess thats what id like to know..

your gonna get to start talking about injectors and such, lotta folks here will give ya advice on that,me, i'm still learning, and this with other forums has helped me immensely, guess what i'm saying is, make sure you read around on all the posts within this website But I can guarantee if that's what you wanna do get ready to fork out some $$$

There not pushing 500-600hp while getting 20mpg...

There most detuned or ***** footing it around and running CNG on top of that.

and probably folks who boast that much HP probably aren't concerned about the MPG anyways, they might also be only going off the overhead thingamobobber, instead of actually recording their milage at fill-ups and recording amount of fuel purchased at each stop. So far from what i've seen around folks talk about getting it best at some distance, and some RPMS, for like just one trip, rather than recording it on a regular basis and coming to some type of average, I don't doubt 20 mpg is possible, so great, but is it consistently possible. As driving conditions change so to are the numbers going to most likely change as well.
