Manual Hubs

The manual hubs on the Super Duty trucks are a piece of cake to replace. Yes, they commonly fail to where they don't release fully and will "tick".
Simply remove the center cap of the wheel (if equipped), use needle nose pliers to pinch together the protruding ends of the wire retainer around the locking hub assembly, pull the wire retaining ring out, grab the hub and rock it up and down and side to side while pulling outward.
Done. Install in reverse order.
