Default bump steer.....

is there any fix for a f250 for bump steer? what is bump steer you ask? its where when you hit a bump the travel of the wheel going up will cause the steering system to move one way or the other....

I hit a bump and almost change lanes.....

do you have a lift on the truck... If you do then you can change the steering arm so that it is not a a great angle.. on my old truck with a lift it helped alot.. as the suspension compressed the steerting rod that went to the tie rod would flatten theby lengthening it in relation to the other components..

You should not have any bump steer unless you have lifted it extream and not done a drop pitman arm...

Could be bad ball joints, bushings, track bar, sway bar... but I have never had an issue with bump steer in any of my 5 PSD's...
