rustin i dont know you and never will, this at first just seemed like people were just joking around myself included, did not know you couldnt take a joke... if you need a tissue you should go to the crapper and grab some off the roll... and in my old 7.3 the stock pump couldnt keep up with the injectors and this did not cause white-blue smoke, so i dont think your trouble-shoot on this is right and with what joe stated he did own you on the subject period case CLOSED

Oh I can take a Joke you all can't handle it! And your right You never will! unless I go visit one of my friends in long Island. You people think you can diagnose a problem just off a post on a truck unseen. Youmight be in for some problems when it realy counts! what happened to your truck might not happen to another. you might have the same symptoms, however diffrent outcomes. Not ALL TRUCKS BREAK THE SAME! Now as far as me being owned not now nor ever on this thread. You all jumped my case for nothing the posts prove it! I decide to stickup for my self. and incomes the calvery. and one by one you all get owned. Ok case closed! END of story start the thread and PM me when you have it I will post when I can!

scared to but i wanted to add an issue i've recently had with my truck

i had never really had any smoke at startup (or running for that matter) until recently. then all of sudden at startup it would smoke (white) like crazy for a few minutes until it was warmed up. looked for stuff visibly and with an autoenginuity for a while and found nothing. then by chance i had someone looking at it and they noticed the degas bottle looked swollen. the bottle cap wasn't relieving pressure like it was supposed to. i put a new one on for 5$ and have not had the smoke at startup since.....been 4 mornings now.

i'm hoping mine has nothing to do with the heads...i'm pretty sure i had a cracked cup alread. I guess at shut down the pressure being higher on the cooling system pushed water thru the crack....i guess the crack isn't bad enough yet for it to happen with the pressure build up?

Yeah? You might want to post that question as a new thread your kinda buried on a thread that is no-longer active. All on a technicality. So pleas copy and paste as a new thread.
Thank you!

I have 2000 f250 it has been doing great till , frist I changed the altanator two weeks ago, I have been hearing the fuel pump getting louder (buzzing and virbrating) truck losing power, so I changed the pump, it came on pumped up pressure and shut off when it built up the pressure. The truck started right off the bat but it blew out a puff of white smoke then started missing like it had a plugged injector, I let it run a couple of minutes to let it even out but it didn't, I left it alone for the night, it would not start this morning . The pump ran but would not build up pressure, the truck did not even try to start. Doe's any have any ideas that could point me in the right direction.
