Default white smoke on take off????

I have recently been having an issue with white grayish smoke coming out under light acceleration on take off in 1st and 2nd. If I get on it it pours black but this white, grayish smoke is really getting annoying. I thought it was due to a bad ebp sensor but I put in a ebp delete today and it is still doing this. Truck seems to run fine so I am lost. Only codes are for ebp low input and ebpv . Any ideas??????

i have heard that low compression can cause white smoke along with leaky injectors. but i dont know what to tell you. when i run by the glass shop(front is all mirrors) by my shop its black as it exits the exhaust then turns gray as it mixes with the air.

I'm new to diesels but from my gasser days... white smoke usually meant that water (antifreeze) was being pushed thru the combustion chamber... Might be a sign that one of your head bolts is about to go...

Like I said I'm new to this...

... Couple questions... Where did you get your injectors from?

I would assume you checked for fuel in your coolant and or oil in the coolant?

Have you checked the turbo for play?

If you can, smell the smoke and see if it smells sweet, or like diesel...

Jim rosewoods built the injectors, I have checked for fuel in coolant and zero, and zero oil in coolant. I looked at the turbo for play while doing the injectors and it looked good and had little to no movement in the shaft. The smoke smells like diesel and seems to look like the same type and smell of smoke that I get when truck has sat over night and then started up in the am or after a long work day. Whitesh and heavy fuel smell. oh and truck runs very strong and pulls hard up too 28 plus boost.

Sounds like you have an injector issue or a compression issue... I would run a cylinder contrubution test, and then a compression test...
