Whats a good place for the waistgate rod to be at? I have mine as tight as it goes. Help me please i think mines wrong

I had mine as tight as I could get it back in the day. Now it has a 1.15 housing on my wifes excursion.

Thats a long story I dont want to go into again...
Yes I prefer the Modded H2e over the 38r for larger hybrids. Its working great on my wifes Excursion.

i had mine as tight as my air compressor would get it but i just recently loosend it about 13 turns and i like it.
