Default RUNNING 5'ER OFF TRUCK BATTER(S)

Any easy way to re-wire the 7-way plug to have the trailer run off the truck batteries without having the key in?? (I swear I read this back when it didn't matter to me) I'm sure nobody has that feeling: " if only I could remember were they saw that!!!" feeling

(besides running 20ft of wire)

thanks

just buy a battery for the trailer......set it up to charge off the truck when it's running. hate for you to have dead batteries in your truck when you try to leave.

Default Sorry

I should have want on... by Sunday I run both batteries dead in the trailer and would like to finish the last day off the truck batteries without leaving the key's on.. ( It takes way to long to re-charge deep cycle batteries so please don't just respond running the truck) but thanks for showing me I need to explain a little better.

I think your easiest and a better choice in my book would be to install a solar panel on the roof of the trailer hooked to the deep cycles. Good luck with whatever you do.
