I was driving my truck with no problems until i lost fuel pedal. I could continue with my speed but could not excellerate. This only happened for a short distance since I was just about to pull in to fill up. After filling up the truck would crank but I could not get it to start. After being trailered home I pulled the chip out and tried to start. After 15-20 seconds of cranking it started but acted like a motor that had been run out of gas. Shut of and kept restarting doing the same thing. I put the chip back in for some reason thinking that wasn't the problem and restarted. Took for a ride and when I would shift I got the lugged down rattle at 2 grand. No check engine light while on tuner but stock setting sets the light. Oil is not very old and plenty full. Just cleaned ipr. After being run down the road it won't start for a while. Any ideas. I don't have a scan tool but probably should buy one.

 

Lots of info there... but its hard to say... Any white smoke? Any smoke at all? Now many miles on the truck? What mods?

 

111,000 miles. 4 inch exhaust ts chip. took the chip out thinking that might a problem but no. It started today but still acted like it was out of fuel. It smokes a small amount on first start up but quickly fades. Going up the road it will only puff a lil soot on a hill under big load. Also just changed cam sensor with that not making a difference.

 

sounds like ur fuel pressure is screwy...
