I installed a lock up switch on my 99 7.3 tested it just like it said and the motor stalled then i unhooked the lock up switch and now my truck wont crank at all. The wait to start lamp didnt come on after i tryed to recrank the truck either I would appreciate any info

 

might have blown a fuse, have you checked them all? that is odd it did that though

 

Number 9 and 22 fuses IIRC are popular no starts when blown. I'd replace even if they look good.

Also, see if it pulls any codes and clear them. Alternatively, if you have no scanner, unhook batteries and turn headlight switch on to drain power (maybe let it sit while you help yourself to a beer) and hook her back up!

I always try the dumbest, easiest things first before I make a production out of it and start yankin wires...

 

yea it was the fuel pump fuse behind the dash thanx for the info guess i hokked into the wrong wire

 

Fuel pump doesn't have a fuse, it was probably the fuel heater.
