Default rear locker

Guys I have a non limited slip 3.73 rear end. What would be the best type of locker to put in. I dont really know anything about it. Can you get just a limited slip locker or do you have to get a swing type for full posi lock?

I wouldnt bother getting the limited slip I would look at getting a Locker like a Detriot locker. I have the Limited slip and still managed to get stuck in wetgrass....

I would NOT get a locker IMHO... There a pain on the street, a pain when its icy out...

Trutrac... Love mine.

I was reading about them on Summit never Heard about them till now. Sounds like they just do what the Limited Slip is "suppose" to do. Less costly then an Air locker also.

I have about 15k on mine, and love it. Its more of a geared LS, no clutches...

Post up in the vendor section... Any of the vendors up there should be able to get you a truetrac for a Sterling 10.50...

Locker is locked 100% of the time, almost to the point of a spool. It will clang and bang around turns.

A truetrac will allow some slip before the gears lock up. Makes it very smooth on the street.
