rear locker

I love, love, the Detroit locker!!! if you don't like a little noise, buy a car! I don't like spinning my tires on slight grades with light dampness or job-site conditions dry or wet that I have to get out and lock my hubs !! and the "bang-clang" is WAY overstated- maybe on the old Detroit Lockers, but not the current one I put in last year! if there's ice/snow take it easy or put it in 4x4 and drive typical (you would never know they were locked other then you smile more going through snowdrifts). heavy front end = no traction! Beware of Wet Grass!!

I F'in HATE my Detroit True Trac! What a waste of money, I should have ponied up the other hundred bucks for the Detroit Locker. Turn left, peg it, does doughnuts, go right peg it, one tire fire! As soon as the torque lets off, it goes one tire. It may be a challenging on ice to have a Locker, but it's called driving your truck not your truck driving you. If I had the money I'd be stuffing in a Detroit Locker.
