Default To plug or not to plug

I always hear conflicting info on whether to plug in my truck or not. I live in WV and it does get cold in the winter. I have adopted the practice of always plugging in my truck if temp's are below freezing, but almost all of the diesel owners I know never plug in their trucks. I would like to get some others opinions and advice. Thanks in advance.

I always plug mine in below 35 or so it makes it start easier and warms up faster.

Its up to you... plug it in for easier starts and quicker warm up. If not, just allow more time for idling and proper warm up.

Up here in Ontario Canada, I pretty much HAVE to plug in if its below freezing.

On the rare occasions I forget to plug in, it takes a long time to start - repeated glow plug heatings, etc. But then I know at least 2 of my GP are bad.... I'm getting new Glow Plugs installed this evening and so I expect cold weather starting will be a lot easier.

But I plug in if I can.
