Default 7.3 lift pump pressure?

Does anyone know what the lift pump pressure should be on a 2000 7.3?

thanks for the info, my pump is still stock so should it be making 68psi? Also I noticed you have your IPR shimmed, what does this do for performance? Sorry for the dumb questions

You do not have a lift pump... You have a fuel pump.

Factory pressures are anywhere from 40 to 70 or so. You can shim the Fuel Pressure Regulator to what ever you would like, but anything over 70 and you risk blowing the fuel bowl cap off or fuel leaks and your over working the pump.

He does not have his IPR shimmed, he used to have his FPR shimmed but now is running an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator.

Raising the fuel pressure does nothing for performance so long as your pump is maintaining 50psi or better.
