Stock 99 7.3 want black smoke? how to get it?

Little smoke...resistor mods
A good black puff...chip or programmer
BIG smoke...injectors

Yup Chip would be your best bet right now. My truck could black out the road got tired of after awhile though.

Black smoke just means you arent burning your fuel efficiently... Put a bag over your intake then you will blow black smoke but also wont make any power ether.

A good chip would be the best thing you can do. There are lots of great custom tuners out there. I like Matt at Gearhead Automotive

i got an sct programer and it smokes pretty well i would get one of those

Light it on fire!!!!!! jk idk. I got a Dmax that dont need smoke. Like they said programer probably.

Go to Powerhungryperformance.com and buy the f.u. Chip (fully updatable) You will jave over 15 custom tunes to choose and a 6 position chip you can change tunes any time you want with a labtop. They have a smoke show tune.

i have a 97 7.3l and have a bully dog 6 position chip and stage 2 injectors as well as moded intake and exhaust and it blows plenty of smoke

im new to this diesel world but love it!! i have recently accuired a 1994 f-350 powerstroke dually and im adding 5 in. chrome bullhauler stacks from sbs diesel performance. i enjoy a good smoke show not too much tho.... everyone says chip it chip it and i was wandering if
Edge Evolution - 1994-2003 Ford 7.3L Evolution Programmer would work?? like im sure it would performance wise but am i gonna get the smoke i want???
