I belive its the turbo but not sure when I shut of the truck the turbo despools and rite as that's done a hear a fant tick from the exuast for a few seconds

so as soon as the "whistle" stops you hear a tick like a fan blade barely hittin something?

 

Ya its kind of like a scraping sound but I don't feel a loss in power or differce in boost

well last night i was driving and it still has boost but doesnt seem to spool the same it doesnt have the whisle its all motor sound

 

I would remove the turbo and check the exhaust wheel. If its a tick coming form the pipe then I want to bet your exhaust wheel if hitting the housing and wearing down the wheel. Now its so warn down that the exhaust gas cant spool ir or something. I would remove it and look into that

 

ya im planning on dooing that this week so we will look in to it thanks for the help if thats it what can i do about it
