wont start
truck was parked for about a month and a half then i went to start it yesterday and it is just cranking and cranking. now its raining and i was wondering what it could be? temp has been in low 20's here for better part of the last month but past two days has been in high 30's low 40's
i do not think there was any smoke. i dont see how it could of bled out, i circulated gp's about 8 times and truck was plugged in for a hour. everytime you turn key on fuel pump turns on and will stay on for a certain amount of time.
If you have no smoke then your not getting fuel... Meaning the injectors are not firing... Do you have a way to run codes or scan it? Need to have good battery voltage to fire the idm so might have to hook it to some jumpers...
Nothing they have will pull anything but generic codes...
Check the oil, if its been sitting for a while i could be low on oil
Check the HPO res, it should be about 1/4" below the lid
Try jumping the glow plug relay with a pair of jumper cables... Red on one side red on the other...
DO NOT use ether or starter fluid... NO NO NO!
You can try unpluging the ICP sensor but I doubt thats it.

i know not to use dummy juice haha i dont know how the orings would go from sitting. but if they did go wouldnt it still start? i checked for fuel in fuel bowl and hear a little gargle but there is fuel in it
O rings??? What are you talking about?
Check the HPO res... see if there is oil in there, like I said, about 1/4" below the top.
Jump the Glow plug relay and see if that gets you anywhere and also try unpluging the ICP sensor...
With the ICP sensor unpluged and cranking you should be able to hear the injectors firing.
