I got a 01 7.3 powerstroke and my service engine soon lite comes on ever so often and when it does my truck gets to shaken like its starving for fuel or an injector is missing. but when i shut the truck off it stops for a while then a couple days later it will do it again i went and got a scan tool and it said number 2 injector wiring harness malfunction so i chased the wire and nothing was wrong with it so i cleard the code and it stopd for bout 2 weeks than it did it again. Any help would be appreciated

 

pull the valve cover and make sure the injector connector is still making contact.. and see if the connector ends are spread. making a poor connection.

 

I have done that and its all fine

 

when was the last time u changed your fuel filter?

 

Replace your UVC harness and your VC gasket... If you look at them one of them will be melted or pushed in.

You might get buy by pulling them apart and filling them with dielectric grease for a bit, but your better off to replace them.
