How hard is it to replace my own glow plugs?
I just got a repair quote of $800.00 to replace all 4 glow plugs on my 2002 F350 Diesel Powerstroke. Ouch!!! The plugs have never been changed. This is the first time.
To save money I was wondering how hard it would be to do myself and if anybody out there can tell me how to do it or if there are any step-by-step instructions online to help me out.
Mechanic says it needs done immediately! It starts fine when I keep it plugged in. However, I cannot keep it plugged in at work. All this trouble started when it got 7 degrees below zero.
PLEASE HELP.

what diesel nut pretty simple to do almost like changing (and i dont want to say a bad word here) spark plugs except for removing the valve covers but it would be alot cheaper to do them yourself not too hard of a job. And btw there is alot of knowledge here if you happen to get stuck.

not hard at all really, it'll take a few hours for the novice first timer
