hey i just got a sct progrmmer for my truck and when i have it on preformance and i give her hell it sets off a check engine light but it goes away shortly after just wondering what it could be

Most likely it is a hpo code that it is running low, or over boost. Are you in to the go pedal when it comes on?

 

Do you have a map fooler of some kind?

read the codes, no doubt you have a overboost code or a ICP code.

 

no i dont have a map fooler but it is proble a over boost because it happens when im in the pedal and pushing about 30psi of boost
