I had it on level 5/extreme and push the pedal to the floor at about 20mph or so and as it was stretching out it started what i guess is called surging it kind of acted like it needed to go ahesd and shift but id wouldn't so i let off. any input would be appreciated! thanks

 

I think alot of the surging problems happen with the 7.3 when ya put a chip on them, I know my brothers 2000 7.3 does, and when he got a wicked wheel it solved alot of the problems

 

well i tried it again on the same setting today and it ran out and shifted fine so i dont know what the problem was but to your comment i also asked a friend of mine the same question and he said it did the same thing with his superchip but it hasnt done it w/ his edge evolution so you maybe right thanks anyway
