Do Not Enter Any E350 Vans Here?

I searched and neither van nor E350 came back with any hits.

I just bought an extended body 2003 E350 with the 7.3 PSD. It's also got the Quigley 4x4 conversion. Going to be the family truckster / mild wheeler / off the beaten path touring vehicle.

I'm hoping to get some pointers on where to start with it as I'm one of those who can't leave well enough alone. I'm also a total cheapskate.

Things I'm considering:
1. gauges - egt, boost and trans temp - have the gauges just need a new temp probe for the egt and a pod
2. relocate underhood battery to frame next to the one already on the frame.
3. better air intake
4. exhaust - don't want it louder though, just to breathe better, but the stock exhaust on there looks to be in good shape
5. intercooler? been looking on where to fit one and I'm figuring out why Ford didn't put one in I'm almost thinking of doing one horizontally over the engine and grafting a Mopar style scoop over top of it.

I don't plan on cranking all sorts of HP/torque out of this thing. I wouldn't mind getting the power up to where it's pickup truck cousin is though.

steps 3 and beyond will be waiting until spring at the earliest however. need some time to get used to it as is, as well as some creature comforts inside.

4x4 vans are cool. Espically if they're diesel. Got any pics?

How is your E350 holding up? Any issues with it yet?
