parking my truck in front of my house and I lost the brakes and reverse at the same time. is there a shared vacuum booster? there is no fluid on the ground, but I can push the pedal to the floor.
Any ideas?????

 

sounds like you have a leak or the master cylinder is bad but as for reverse it does not have anything to do with it your trans is computer controled mght be a solinoid or revese has gone out

 

No vac booster or anything like that. The brakes are run off the power steering pump, the tranny is fully electric...

You have two completely differant issues.

Unless you mean the park setting on the tranny is not working???
