I dont notice any strange sound but I am guessing with the amount of carbon build up I got out of the ebpv it is bad. I ordered a new one today.I hope this will fix it because I am out of options.

Doubtful it will fix it. Try unplugging the EBPV at the bottom of the turbo pedistal and see if that helps at all. Other then that, its time to pull the turbo and take a closer look.

The EBPV on my truck comes from the front of the exhaust manifold and goes up the front of the motor to the sensor. I dont see where it goes to the turbo pedistal.

Your EBP sensor is on the tube that runs from the manifold to the front of the motor. The Exhaust Back Pressure Valve is on the outlet of the turbo. It will close when the PCM commands, when the air temps are cold enough and oil temp is cold.

It will close and when it is closed the truck will not build boost correctly and will seem very sluggesh. Only thing is, when this is closed it makes a loud noise out the exhaust, sounds like a jet or hair drier...

On the bottom of the turbo pedistal is the power for the EBPV, unplug it and see if your condition improves.

Problem Fixed....On the Exhaust Back Pressure Valve the clip had come off and was un hooked. This was alot of fun to get back on but she has never ran this good since I got her. Thanks for all the help!!
Now its time to add some stuff and see what it will do...
