im new ? on my egt probe

Default im new ? on my egt probe

i bought a 2000 f-250 with a banks 2 pos chip and lp injection its a six speed, the guy i bought it from put the pyro probe after the turbo.... correct me if im wrong but the pyro and egt are the same right? anyways would it be better for me to move the probe to the manifold? cuz i was reading on here and people are saying the you dont want it after the turbo? any info or help you could give would be great thank you

YES YOU WANT YOUR PYROMETER PRE TURBO IF NOT THERE IS A SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE IN TEMPS
EGT=EGHAUST GAS TEMP AND IT IS THE SAME AS PYRO
CAP YOUR EXISTING PROBE HOLE AND RE-TAP IN MANIFOLD GOOD LUCK

Yep, should be in the drivers side manifold.

ah man im glad i read this... i was about to put a pyro after the turbo..phew!
