on heads up display that tells the temp, fuel range, ect. well it quit working, i want to takw it down and check the connections, well thats the problem, i dont know how to get it down. some help would be great.

 

There are 3 surface mounted resistors in the console that like to pop off. You need to be good with a low wattage, pencil soldering iron to do this repair but here is a writeup on it. The console may be different than yours but removal is similar.
