ebpv delete?

ok so im gettin hybris for the old girl and im wondering about my stock turbo moving enof air no money for a gtp38r now but will gutting the ebpv make an improvment?
i use it for an exh brake now but if it will help me get more power i will remove it i welcome all of your thoughts but im trying to not spend any cash right now. also i might do a 1.0 exh w/g housing if someone had one cheap let me know and thanks

It depends on what size hybrids you are getting. Some of the smaller hybrids work fine with the stock turbo but with the mods you show it probably won't be long before the journal bearing gives up. The EBPV creates a very small amount of restriction. Replacing the outlet would give you much greater results than simply gutting the EPB wastegate housing.

By opening up the exhaust outlet, you will reduce EGT's but until you upgrade the turbo, you will continue to see turbo lag.
