Default psd rear main oil seal ?

Has any one ever changed a rear oil seal in a psd diesel? I attempted to change mines but there appears to be a adapter ring on the rear of the crank (AUTOMATIC TRANS). I tried to remove it with a damper, Darn thing would,nt not budge. Thanks

If your seeing oil under the truck, and it looks like it's coming from your rear main seal area... it's more than likely your EBPV actuator rod leaking from your pedestal.

im havin the same prob i think, i took it to get a oil change and everyday i see a little puddle of oil right under the oil pan but some ones told me its the drain plug gasket and then someone told me some seal is bad and is going to cost around 1500 to fix, but theres so much coming out i keep having to put more oil in every like month or so cause it would get so low and i could feel a great power loss until i put more oil in, i mean the oil has coated everything under my truck all the way to the end of the exaust tip...please help

you need to get it cleaned up first, if you have that much oil everywhere I dought it is just the drain plug gasket. most common are the plug on the back of the HPOP, or the o-rings on the high pressure oil line fittings, or the plugs on the back of the head.
