Default Oil leak when I plug in the block heater....

Hoping someone can help me out. I'm out to sea on a ship and need some answers for my wife's truck. She drives a 2001 F250 PSD 4x4 Crew Cab, short box with an auto tranny. Before I shipped out, I set up an extension cord so she could plug it in at night. Her truck is very cold blooded. Just like her - hates winter. She started noticing a small cupcake side leak every morning after she plugged it in. Only occurs when she plugs it in. Had a friend of mine check the fluids, and all is good. Any ideas? A little help would be greatly appreciated. It's a bitch trying to troubleshoot something thousands of miles away.

Has she looked at the top of the engine to possibly check where the oil is coming from? I'm not trying to be too much of a wizeazz but the most common places for oil leaks are HPOP fittings, turbo-to-pedistal and pedistal-to-block o-rings, and the EBPV actuator assembly.
