Idles then dies

Default Idles then dies

2000 excursion 7.3 problem started yesterday was driving along and it died but fired right back up did this 6 times and was fine got home changed cps and drove it today about 20 miles and died and would not restart would crank and fire up but immediately dies after sitting for 2 hours it would start and idle if I touched the throttle it would die and would not restart after sitting for an hour it will idle for 20 seconds and die while idling runs rough but after it dies it will not restart till it sits for awhile I am puzzled any help is much appreciated thanks

does it do it when its cold and hot?

It would not restart at all while it was hot but once it cooled down it'll start and idle for a couple seconds and die

kinda sounds like an IPR issue but you need to get a scanner on it

I have an SCT tuner in my super duty I used it to check the codes I can't remember what they are right off hand I'll post them when I get a chance

Codes are p1280 and p1670

Had a scanner put on it the guy said it pulled a code that the chip in my key was bad? Is this possible would that really keep it from starting
