upgrade lift pump?

I have a 99 7.3, and I am wanting to purchase a ts 6 position chip. Everyone I know is telling me to get an upgraded lift pump for it... Should I get a new one or can I do without it?

Do you have gauges? If they are stock injectors you should be fine

is the ts 6 one of the better chips for the 7.3? i have gages and an intake on my truck.

The hydra is the best. The TS is the second best option though.
