Default Brake replacement

I am trying to replace the front brakes and the rotor will not come off. It is loose but when I get to where there is about 1/2 inch left to go it will not budge. Any help would be appreciated.

Default brakes

Can you push the caliper further open
I have used a c clamp on top of the old pads to push open the pistons

I already had the caliper and caliper bracket off. I did finally get it. Had to use a 4lb sledgehammer and beat the hell out of it until it came off. I had to do it to both sides. It only took about 1.5 hours per side. The new ones went on without and issue.
