We have a 2000 7.3. Started fine yesterday and last night. Today won't start and smoke is coming from the turbo. Does anyone have any ideas? Love this truck but I'm not a diesel mech.

 

smoke coming from the turbo is just an exhaust leak. I need more info please miles, whats been replaced in the last few years to your knowledge and if there is any check engine light on and if you tried starting it plugged in? also remove fuel filter and inspect for any oil in fuel if so its injector o rings bleeding off pressure. but without further information I would think most likely hpop or idm but with more info we can go down a straighter path
