I am currently in school for high performance engine machining and i have been asked about doing a head for a 7.3. I have only done general maintenance on theses engines and am curious about a few things. If anyone on here has done a head for one of these engines where did you find valve, valve guides,and just general stuff for rebuilding a head i need to price parts out for the guy. Also is there any weak points in the head, points where they cracks things that can be upgraded that fail. Thanks in advance for any help have a great day.

 

Parts are available on eBay or thru a local machine shop weak point in the heads would be the valve guides and all the injector cups should be replaced
