Hey guys...New here and need some help..got a little cool here in NC couple days ago checking my coolant levels and when doing truck it was a little low..told my employee to get a gallon off the shop floor and fill it to full mark..as I was turning back around he was just starting to pour in the Orange antifreeze..only got about 1 pint in it and it was only checking 15 degrees protection before any went in so it was very watery anyhow. How is the best way to flush this thing out ..what is the best flush additive to use...thanks guys

 

I've heard of people draining the coolant out and running water through the system, then draining again.Then fill with your coolant.
What type of coolant do you use?

I reccomend fleetcharge coolant has sca's in it to prevent cavitation which the front cover one these cavitate

 

anyone here use abro coolant? maybe i will just follow detroitdiesel idi recommendation. never heard fleetcharge coolant but i guess i'll just give it a try.
