JOHN WOODS BUILT MY TRANNY HE CALLS IT HIS STREED PERFORMANCE TRANS HE SAID YOU SHOULD KNOW WHAT THE STALL IS ON THIS.

YOU GAVE ME MODIFIED STOCK, 80 DAILY,80 TOW, 120 RACE.. TUNES



MY MECHANIC TOOK MY TRUCK OUT ON A FAITH VOYAGE TODAY RAN IT AT CRUISING SPEEDS SAID IT WAS GOOD TO GO, RAN IT FLAT AND WOT AND SAID AT MODERATE RAMP UP IT SMOKE A BIT BUT PULLED REALLY HARD AND GOOD, AND MASH DOWN WOT IT SMOKED LIKE A TRAIN EGTS WENT UP SLOWLY TO MAX BUT EVERYTHING WAS GOOD MAYBE TOO MUCH SMOKE. RAN IT UP A HILL ON RACE TUNE AND IT BASICALLY ALMOST INSTANTLY PEGGED THE EGT. I KNOW OBVIOUSLY THAT IS AN EXTREME RACE TUNE(FOR MY GIVIN APPLICATION) IM JUST GIVING YOU THE FINDINGS AND GONNA LET YOU MAKE THE ASSESMENT IF WE NEED TO CHANGE ANYTHING OR IF YOU FEEL GOOD ABOUT WHERE THIS IS AT. I THINK THE GENERAL FINDING IS THAT IT IS SMOKIN QUITE A BIT ALSO FROM A DEAD STOP IT SEEMS A LITTLE LAGGY AT TAKE OFF WITH OF COURSE SOME SMOKE NO MATTER WHAT THERE IS SMOKE. AND IF YOUR CRUISN AT 35 MPH AND YOU GO TO APPRX 50% THROTTLE WHERE A SEASONED DIESEL MECHANIC FEELS IT SHOULD HAVE SHIFTED IT DOESN’T LEAVE OD AND LOCKUP AND JUST KINDA LAGGS AND ROLLS MAJOR SMOKE. HE SAID THAT HE FEELS THE TRANS IS NOT BEING TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT WITH THESE TUNES. I HOPE I WAS CLEAR ENOUGH I KNOW ITS A LOT OF INFO TO READ. PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AND GIVE SOME THOUGHT TO IT. THEY ARE GONNA CHANGE THE OIL TOMORROW AND BUTTON A FEW THINGS UP. I WOULD LIKE TO STOP BY AND DROP SOME REVISIONS IN IF YOU THINK THEY NEED TO BE FIRST THING IN THE MORNING SO THEY CAN RUN IT AGAIN AND MAKE ANY LAST MINUTE ASSESMENTS BEFORE I GET IT BACK FOR THE WEEKEND. ALSO ONE LAST QUESTION IS THE REGULATED RETURN KIT I BOUGHT FROM YOU GUYS SAYS THAT THE BASELINE PRESSURE SHOULD BE 60 PSI THE MECHANIC WANTED ME TO ASK YOU IF YOU FELT THAT THIS WAS APPROPRIATE FOR THE SETUP I HAVE??
