Truck cranks up and idles good, passes buzz test, passes cylinder cont test. When you drive it up the road as the rpms go up it starts missing. Go back to idle and it will run rough and 1,3 and sometimes others will fail cyl, cont but pass buzz test. Go on a long trest drive and it gets where the truck will just about not have enough power troo make it up the drive way. Shut it off and re start and idles smooth and passes cyl cont.

I had ordered injectors and a new chip and this problem started with the old injectors so I just went ahead and installed the new ones hoping that was the problem. Replaced fuel filter and also replace fuel pump with a walbro I have laying around. I have not got the right adapter tocheck fuel pressure which I am trying too round up. Engine has about 270k miles and has never had any issues ever except valve cover harness and crank sensor. Only code is po470 and on scanner data looks good. I have a spare crank sensor which is going in next.

I installed sngle shot 160cc injectors from full force and have a hydra chip with gearhead tunes.

It really feals like a fuel issue? Hopefully the fuel pressure test will show me something? Thoughts are greatly appreciated.

 

Rigged up a gauge and the truck will not start and has no pressure. Guess I need to look at the Pickup in the tank?

 

Screen stopped up. Got rid of it and it is running much better.
