But right now im looking at a 2000 7.3 power stroke with a 6 speed in it extended cab with 237xxx miles on it I dont do alot of hualing here right now so itl be a daily driver and for me to try and start learning about trucks more beforw I go to school but for 7500 does that sound about right I know the 7.3 is bullet proof my family has always had them but never with a six speed what do yall think about this truck?

Do you know the seller? There are plenty of trucks with that many miles but it will really be about how well it was taken care of. Also how many owners and/or what has the truck been used for.

As far as 7500 you have to provide more info in the truck... 4x4? Leather? Paint condition? Upgrades (lift/tuned)?Etc. Or even some pictures.

Some easy things to check are the blowby coming out of the oil fill neck. If its 4x4 turn the ac on and lock the hubs. If you really wanted to you could get a sample of the oil sent of and tested.

Looks pretty clean from the pics. Again, when it comes to that kind of mileage I think its all about how well the truck has been taken care of. Ask if the 4x4 hubs have ever been repacked, and when the front diff/rear diff/ transfer case fluid has been replaced. Those are simple things anyone can do and someone who takes care of their truck would do BEFORE a problem.

Thats good. I would say go with your gut on if you feel the truck was well taken care of or not. And look around for other prices to compare. Most everyone has some room to negociate on an asking price.
