Whining noise while driving????????

Question Whining noise while driving????????
Not sure what it is, but while im driving and and giving the truck throttle i get a whining noise. When I let off the throttle it stops.
what the heck is causing this? or is this normal?

Could be the turbo. My turbo is pretty loud in the cab when I juice it around 10-15psi of boost but goes away above that. Do you have a billet compressor wheel?

Yeah i do have a billet compressor wheel, installed it probably 4-5 months ago.

Did you notice the sound around the time you installed your compressor wheel?

Power steering pump or tranny pump will make a whining noise as well
