not alot of mods to truck, but looking for something to help with gas mileage, hp. and fix the speedometer. Looking at the sct handheld, seems legit, had it for couple mustangs i have had and its easily upgradable when making mods to truck. Any ideas? i read another thread and people were talking about chips being better, but dont see how thats beneficial for someone doing stuff on a spare change budget rather than having everything already done.

 

TS chip with custom tuning is the best. I dont think most tuners will tune for the SCT and a chip is shift on the fly as the SCT takes 10 minutes to change tunes

 

I have an edge evolution, which takes like 10 to 15 minutes to change between tunes...................needless to say I will be replacing it with a Dp-tuner and getting a set of pod gauges..................

 

Whatever you do, do not get a DP! I wouldn't run one on my weed eater let alone my pickup. Stick with the TS chip tuners
