Hey everybody I am new to the forum, I have been looking at trucks for a while and I found a 03 F350 with a 6L with 168k miles. What issues might there be and what should I look for. How do the transmissions in those hold up? I know injectors in some of the fords were horrible what else should i look at?
Any advice is appreciated.

On the 6.0. Injectors and egr valve. I stayed away from the 6.0 when I bought my truck. I found the 7.3. Best motor EVER made form ford. The auto tranny is a VERY bad thing, with high HP motor and large payload. You will burn up the auto. There are upgrade and mods to correct these nasty issues. Like injector upgrades, BTS tranny, egr delete. There are some on hear that have built ok 6.0.
