So I am kinda new to PSDs but I have had 2 Cummins before. I am looking at a 2000 with 456000 miles it is an auto 4x4 and I can get a huge deal on it. I want to know from power stroke guys what I should look at engine wise it is the original engine believe it or not so what's input

 

Take it from a mechanics point of view. There's really know, knowing unless I can take a look at the truck personally. Do a carfax, on the truck. Make sure it doesn't have a bad wrap if you catch my drift. Take a look at the OP, this guy here will tell you everything there is to know about Powerstroke's he's a genius when it comes down to them.

Before I buy anything I do a Compression Test and Run Diagnostics via the PCM.
