I've got a 2002 7.3 with 186k, and I'm looking to add bigger injectors. Right now I've got a BD turbo thruster 2 turbo, AFE stage 2 intake, and a dp tuner with 120hp performance and 80hp econo tunes, and soon to be a snow performance water/meth system (since the tuner keeps my EGTs pretty high). At what point do I need to worry about the stock headstuds failing?

Ok cool. Right now I'm generating around 15-20 psi when I'm really getting on it. My check engine light comes on when I get to 20psi, I'm guessing because its still the stock HPOP. Can't tell for sure because it only stays on for a few seconds and doesn't throw a code.

 

Could be an over boost code to and its defueling

 

I wouldn't worry about the hp but the boost anything over 25 psi roughly you should be considering headstuds
